Annual Halloween Candy Give-A-Way at Spanish Ranch II 2017

The annual Halloween candy give-a-way has been a tradition for many, many years here at SRII as you old timers know quite well. However, if you are  new here, let me tell you about the custom. We ask our residents to donate big bags of WRAPPED candy. The donated candy is then individually bagged by resident volunteers and then given out to our neighborhood children on Halloween night.

By setting up tables at the park entrance we avoid having lots of kids coming through the park.

If you would like to join us for this fun event there are three ways you can contribute:

  • Buy some individually wrapped candy and deliver it to the park office by Oct. 25. If you can’t deliver it yourself, please call Joanne and she will pick it up for you. Our goal is to fill 140 individual bags.
  • Come to the clubhouse on Oct. 27, at 10:30A.M. to help assemble the candy bags. Our Park Manager, Donna, will provide sandwiches & chips for the volunteers.
  • Join your friends & neighbors on Halloween night, Oct. 31, by greeting the kids and giving out the bags at our park entrance beginning at 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Coffee will be served.
